Zagreb - Food lovers Paradise

It seems everyday is market day in Zagreb - even a cool rainy day like today has all the locals out in the Dolac Market buying fish, pork, veges, fruits, cheeses, many types of mystery meats, fresh pasta and even fresh fillo pastry and salami skins.








The sun was coming out as we climbed the Lotrscak Tower, a medieval survivor and looked out at the hills and down into the old city.









It was then time to sit at one of the very many outdoor cafe/bar establishments and drink very strong cappuccino then eat pancake for lunch - strange but no one seemed to be eating at the restaurants here until about 3 in the afternoon - is this lunch or what but we managed pasta anyway



And beer !!
